‘Why shopping?’ you may well ask when the rest of the agency world is talking brands and retailing. The answer lies in a simple truth. Men and women of the world SHOP. They don’t go retailing they go shopping. So consequently, if you are already talking their language the chances are you can quickly find ways to get them to spend more in your store (either in the flesh or online) or on your brand.
How do we spend our day?
Well, shopping of course! Or at the very least sitting in shopping centres, supermarket cafes, in front of our laptops, smart phones or standing for hours just watching people shop for products.
