Background

Dolphin are the UK’s leading retailer of fitted bathrooms. With growing focus on the retail environment they wanted a retail design solution that maximised the square footage available to the brand, minimised the store fit and optimised the customer experience. And that’s a lot of ‘ises’ to sort!

Objective

To reduce fit costs but maintain the differentiation from the supply only market and ensure that customers leave the store with a full understanding of our fitted offer.

Strategy

The solutions we provided followed our retail development strategy SHOP, which centres on customer engagement as well as education and information. They aim to involve shoppers with the brand and prolong their time in-store, resulting in positive recollection of the retailer.”

Creative Implementation

The new layout and features take the customer on a journey around the store. That journey begins with a hero set to dramatise the full offer and sell the dream, the customer is then taken through the complete buying process; from choosing a suite and tiles, right through to the toothbrush cup.

Impact

The interior design and point-of-sale solutions provide the bathroom retailer with a more cost-effective display system and make the firm’s offering easier to understand for the customer. This solution has been rolled out to 20 further showrooms.
