Background
This brief was right up our street. Take a fabulously famous Chef and make his packaging across his entire gifting and food ranges both iconic and consistent.
Taking the existing graphic device – which we lovingly call the splat – we developed a whole new approach to packaging that made it more premium, more appealing and easier to shop.
Objectives
The brief to the agency was relatively simple, we needed to make the brand more premium, create greater differentiation between the products and make the packaging more evocative of the Jamie Oliver brand values.
Creative Direction
To tackle this we introduced a food based colour palette, gave the splat extra layers to create energy, simplified all the type and printed the labels on metallic to make the splat zing off shelf.
