Brief
To create a motivating retail environment that would clearly communicate the Sharps Bedrooms new brand proposition to female shoppers.

Using our SHOP tool we have created the following layered approach to communication.

Personality
The brand position ‘& YOU’ was used within the showrooms and concessions, ‘it’s all about you’ highlights the unique relationship that Sharps has with its customers. The new brand identity and colour palette were used to add a new fresh look to the whole retail environment, amplifying the feminine qualities for the brand.

Education
Delivered in layers throughout the store, the stories for space, storage, service and style were amplified through the new brand identity, colour palette, imagery and tone of voice. Each piece was developed to help customers by providing inspiration and information at exactly the right point. The Sharps service was created by simplifying it into three key steps. This explained how easy the process of getting your new bedroom is and highlights the craftsmanship and installation process involved

Engagement
Getting customers to interact with the product ranges is really key; the POS solution invited customers to open drawers and doors, look inside and find all the great storage solutions inside. A number of pieces were also developed to demonstrate the breadth of the Sharps range by showing images of other products not displayed in the showroom.

Information
Key messages were used throughout the showroom, such as ‘book an appointment’ which are vital, in telling customers how to act.

Promotion
Throughout the year, the key sales period require promotional material to communicate the offers to consumers. Promotional material builds on the showroom identity adding extra motivation to get shoppers to book an appointment.

Results
It’s been really positive. Since the roll out of the re-furb programme began, re-furbished showrooms have had 30-40% uplift in appointments.
