Shopping Lists Analysed @ The Market

In a rather grubby corner of an Asda trolley lay a scrumpled up piece of paper. Being deeply nosy people we opened it to reveal a rather sad and dejected shopping list.

A further glance round the trolley bay and there to our surprise were 3 more. Opening before our eyes were glimpses into 4 peoples’ lives: What they were having for tea that night, how they shopped the supermarket aisles, whether they were brand addicts or just wanted curry sauce or even believe it or not if they were going to have sex (condoms – strawberry flavoured tends to be a give away).

Now we have collected hundreds and our research project to identify shopping list typologies is firmly underway.
